STRAPIER is a bit loafer designed to support everyday movement, from walking to driving.The single-piece upper follows the natural lines of the foot, while the saddle line and Italian-made bit hardware provide quiet stability across the instep.
Built on NEGRONI’s slip-on architecture, it achieves a composed balance between lightness and hold. The sole employs Gommus’s Hovercraft system, whose internal air pockets diffuse impact and maintain comfort over long distances.

❷ Expression — Materials & Aesthetics

The upper is crafted from NEGRONI’s signature Negroni Leather, known for its even grain, gentle firmness, and the way it softens beautifully with wear. Italian bit hardware and hand-applied moc stitching are arranged with a restrained elegance, allowing the loafer to settle naturally into everyday surroundings.

At the moment your foot enters, you feel both the firm tension of the leather and the cushioning beneath it. The Hovercraft sole absorbs movement quietly, balancing stability with a surprisingly light step. Whether walking or behind the wheel, STRAPIER keeps motion composed—never scattered.

Based on NEGRONI’s long-refined slip-on last, STRAPIER translates the engineering of our driving shoes into a loafer silhouette. It is crafted not for display, but to offer steady composure in daily life—a modern continuation of our approach to functional footwear.

Upper: Negroni Leather (cowhide | Hokkaido-sourced raw hides | tanned in Hyogo using a proprietary recipe)

Lining: Leather × Ultrasuede® × Polyester layered lining
Insole: Leather insole
(cowhide × EVA × Polyester)
Outsole: Driving rubber sole

(synthetic rubber | made in Italy | Gommus “Hovercraft” system)
The upper, lining, and insole are crafted in Japan, while the outsole is sourced from Italy.

Final assembly and finishing are carried out one pair at a time at NEGRONI Factory Tokyo.
