TOURER Driftwood

TOURER is a shoe reimagined for travel, taking its cue from the chukka boots worn by motorists in the 1960s. It retains the nimble feel of a classic 2-3 eyelet design and the refinement of a dress shoe, while being paired with a CLUBHOUSE sole.

The ankle fit is soft and supple, making every step feel light. The Vibram Gumlite® lightweight foam rubber sole, with a 7mm toe and 22mm heel height, absorbs road impact without harshness and provides cushioning that doesn't feel overly soft. It is tuned for a lightness that allows for long walks in the city while maintaining the sensitivity required for pedal operation.

The leather welt, dyed with French patina liquid, adds a refined silhouette typical of leather shoes to the functional lightness of the foam rubber. The chukka boot's simple construction, soft entry, and dress-sole elegance coexist, allowing it to pair seamlessly with jackets and slacks.

The goal of TOURER was not to achieve the tension of competitive footwear, but to elevate the act of moving itself. Light and agile in the driver's seat, and as refined as a leather shoe once you step out. It is a pair that reinterprets the closeness between "driving shoes" and "dressing shoes" from 1960s motoring into a contemporary CLUBHOUSE specification.
