The flagship IDEA CORSA by Negroni meets the spirit of the NISSAN Z in a special 2025 collaboration model.

IDEA CORSA was developed as Negroni’s flagship model in pursuit of the ideal driving shoe. For the 2025 edition, the project was supervised by Hiroshi Tamura, former chief product specialist for the Nissan GT-R and Fairlady Z and now Brand Ambassador for the Nissan Z. From material selection to color coordination and emblem design, every detail reflects the Z’s identity. The dedicated 3E last ensures a natural fit for wider foot shapes, while the newly designed bucket insole reinforces the arch and heel, enhancing rigidity and delivering highly sensitive pedal feel.

❷ Expression — Materials & Aesthetics

The upper is crafted from the newly updated Negroni Leather, introduced in 2025. Made from premium hides sourced in Hokkaido, this leather features a refined matte finish, even grain pattern, and luxurious thickness, offering both durability and elegance. Complementing this is Checker Steel Leather, symbolizing the Z’s character, which adds strength and lightness while creating a sophisticated contrast that defines the shoe’s distinctive expression.

❸ Response — Comfort & Sensitivity

The robust upper combined with the bucket insole delivers a firm hold that supports the entire foot. This ensures stable comfort even during long drives or daily wear, while translating every pedal action into precise, immediate response. The driver experiences the heightened sensitivity and control that define IDEA CORSA.

❹ Legacy — History & Heritage

This 2025 edition was realized through the collaboration between Hiroshi Tamura—who has long been a personal user of IDEA CORSA—and Negroni’s dedication to craftsmanship. The Z logo emblem was produced by a historic badge maker with over 108 years of heritage, perfected through repeated sub-millimeter adjustments and delicate enamel work. It stands as a symbol of Japanese automotive culture fused with artisanal precision.

The IDEA CORSA × NISSAN Z 2025 Special Edition represents the intersection of sports car heritage and the pursuit of the ideal driving shoe. Designed to perform seamlessly from lifestyle use to circuit driving, it has earned recognition as a benchmark in both international super sports car development and European motorsport programs. With the introduction of the new Negroni Leather, this edition embodies the brand’s vision for the future while carrying forward the Z’s timeless spirit.

Upper: Negroni Leather (cowhide, Hokkaido-sourced hides), Checker Steel Leather (cowhide)

Lining: Silver Cushion Lining (polyester)

Insole: Negroni Bucket Insole (polyester / EVA)

Sole: Driving Rubber Sole (synthetic rubber)

The upper, lining, and insole are produced in Japan, while the sole is crafted in Italy. Final assembly, including the sole attachment, is carried out individually at the Negroni Factory Tokyo.
