 ❶ Design and Structure ― Essence

The Anima Evo is an evolution of a driving shoe based on an open-lacing structure and a wide fit, adapted for more aggressive driving.
It expands the traditional Idea last to 4E and incorporates a bucket insole that securely supports the heel and arch. Carbon fiber is integrated into the sides to enhance rigidity and stability during cornering and pedal work.

 ❷ Materials and Aesthetics ― Expression

The upper combines Negroni's original shrink leather made from Hokkaido hides with metal pattern leather, and features real carbon fiber on the side panels.
The soft texture of the leather merges with the sharp appearance of the metal leather, exuding a presence that combines stillness and motion. While maintaining the beautiful balance of the revived design, the material contrast brings out a modern sporty feel.

 ❸ Comfort and Responsiveness ― Response

The bucket insole firmly holds the heel and sole, while the side carbon fiber enhances lateral rigidity. This suppresses foot movement during high-speed cornering and continuous pedal operation, enabling precise control. The wide forefoot maintains a natural spread, while the overall design achieves sharp responsiveness.

The Anima Evo is an evolution of Negroni's archived Anima model, with materials and structure adapted to modern driving styles. While preserving the comfort of a wide fit, the active incorporation of carbon materials gives it a character more suited for sport driving.

Specifications

- Upper: Negroni leather (cowhide | raw hides from Hokkaido, tanned with a unique recipe in Hyogo Prefecture)
- Heel/Toe: Metal patterned leather (cowhide | made in Japan)
- Side: Carbon fiber
- Lining: Black cushion lining (polyester)
- Insole: Negroni bucket insole (polyester/EVA)
- Sole: Driving rubber sole (synthetic rubber)

The upper, lining, and insole are made in Japan, and the sole is made in Italy.
The final sole-attaching process is completed by hand, one pair at a time, at the Negroni Factory Tokyo in Tokyo.
