Design concept
The Idea Corsa is Negroni's flagship model, designed to be the ideal driving shoe. It boasts outstanding manoeuvrability and comfort thanks to a powerful fit that holds the entire foot in place. The side emblems are made of coated carbon prepreg, a cutting-edge carbon material. The heel and topline, as well as the iconic twin eyelets, are made of scratch- and stain-resistant metal split leather, creating a strong central line. The vivid contrast between the luxurious materials creates a sophisticated driver's style.　


New "pure Japanese" Negroni leather
Negroni leather has been produced using the same recipe since 2000, but the manufacturer was changed this summer in order to update the quality. The raw hides have been changed from the North American raw materials originally used to purely Japanese  materials. High-quality cowhide delivered from Hokkaido is now used. The recipe has also been greatly improved, with a slightly matt texture, a well-proportioned grain and a luxurious, plump, thick silver tip. All in all, we consider the new Negroni leather to be our most satisfying ever. The update also includes a new smooth version of Negroni leather. Discussion on the fit
The Idea Corsa shoe tree has been developed with 3E as the standard. The width and instep have sufficient volume, so the shoe has an excellent balance to fit many Japanese foot shapes. The Tuscany suede, with its thick, beautifully textured pile, is the ideal finishing touch to the Idea Corsa's comfort. In combination with the supple carbon fibre, it allows you to experience a powerful fit that feels as if it is absorbed by your foot. The bucket insole with excellent arch and heel hold, developed especially for this model, improves the rigidity of the entire shoe and provides a more sensitive manoeuvring sensation.

Driving considerations
The shoe can be used sufficiently for a wide range of situations, including three-pedal sports driving and tough speed attacks, as well as general lifestyle driving. The high driving performance of Negroni driving shoes is so highly regarded that they have not only been adopted as a development standard for leading national and international super sports cars, but are also regularly used as an evaluation standard in the motorsport impressions of European car TV programs.
