The IDEA CORSA is NEGRONI’s flagship driving shoe, created in pursuit of the ideal form of driving footwear. This collaboration, supervised by Hiroshi Tamura—chief product specialist behind icons such as the GT-R and Fairlady Z—reflects the essence of the Z in every detail, from material selection to color coordination and emblem design. The dedicated last is built on a 3E standard, offering generous volume at the width and instep to naturally accommodate Japanese foot shapes. A newly developed bucket insole provides strong arch and heel support, enhancing overall rigidity while delivering a sensitive and precise pedal feel.

　
❷ Expression — Materials & Aesthetics

The upper features custom split leather developed in Vigevano, Italy, to reproduce the striking Ikazuchi Yellow body color of the Z Proto. Checker steel leather is applied to the heel, topline, and twin eyelets, balancing durability with a lightweight aesthetic. For the side emblem, checker steel leather is also used in place of the traditional carbon, creating a refined contrast that highlights the sophistication of this collaboration model.

The robust upper and the firm hold of the bucket insole provide secure support across the entire foot. This special edition was made possible through the long-standing relationship between Hiroshi Tamura, who has been a loyal wearer of the IDEA CORSA, and NEGRONI’s dedication to driving footwear. The Z emblem is crafted by a historic badge maker with over 108 years of heritage. Achieved through months of fine adjustments to tolerances of less than a millimeter and delicate color inlays within ultra-thin grooves, the emblem embodies the union of Japanese automotive culture and artisanal craftsmanship.

The IDEA CORSA × NISSAN Z Special Edition represents the convergence of sports car lineage and the pursuit of the ideal driving shoe. Lining: Silver cushion lining (polyester)

Outsole: Driving rubber sole (synthetic rubber)

The upper, lining, and insole are crafted in Japan, while the outsole is sourced from Italy.

Final assembly and sole attachment are carried out at NEGRONI Factory Tokyo, where each pair is completed by hand.
