This special edition pairs NEGRONI’s IDEA with the 2024 Nissan GT-R, a collaborative effort shaped under the guidance of Hiroshi Tamura (Product Planning Division Brand Ambassador) and Mitsunori Morita (Chief Designer, Advanced Design Department, Global Design Headquarters). The IDEA, NEGRONI’s signature driving sneaker, has been re-engineered with a GT-R-specific pattern. Every detail, from material selection and color development to logo hardware and subtle accents, reflects the distinctive character of the GT-R Edition.

IDEA GT-R Edition

A staple of NEGRONI’s collection, the IDEA driving shoe is crafted with perforated NEGRONI LEATHER—an in-house material developed using a proprietary recipe for superior breathability and weight reduction. This collaboration features a specially tuned bucket insole that delivers a firm, full-foot hold for exceptional pedal feel and comfort. Scratch- and stain-resistant checker-steel leather accents on the heel, topline, and signature twin eyelets create a striking center line with a refined finish.

Exquisite Emblem Detail

The GT-R emblem was brought to life through a meticulous process, blending nickel plating with dual-color pearl red and black enamel. With less than 1mm clearance between the GT and R sections, filling the black enamel required precision work performed by a leading Japanese metal badge manufacturer.

Fit Philosophy

The IDEA is built on a 3E last developed exclusively for this model, offering generous width and instep volume ideal for a wide variety of foot shapes, particularly common in Japan. Perforated NEGRONI LEATHER delivers a supple yet durable feel, ensuring comfort that adapts with wear.
