Design Inspiration and Story
GRAND PRIX HI-TOP is a modern interpretation of motorsport footwear from the 60’s and early 70’s. Years of research into vintage archives and racing imagery informed a design that merges historical authenticity with contemporary functionality.
The upper combines resilient CORDURA® fabric—lightweight, highly water-repellent, and exceptionally tough—with contrasting Wet Track Calf for a refined, utilitarian edge. This pairing makes it an all-weather companion that thrives in both urban and driving environments. Inside, Motorhide Vintage leather lining develops a rich patina over time, enhancing the premium fit and feel.
Fit & Sizing Guide
The GRS last provides a sleek profile with ample toe depth for comfort. While CORDURA® fabric has a structured, firm feel initially, it gradually softens as the midsole, insole, and Wet Track Calf adapt to the foot’s shape, creating a uniquely balanced rigidity.
The thickly cushioned leather insole supports the arch and provides an elevated, stress-free fit. Rubber laces simplify wear by allowing easy entry and removal without untying—a practical solution for high-top sneakers.
(Note: Classic cotton laces are available separately for those seeking a more vintage aesthetic.)
