The Spearhead is Negroni’s latest creation, a modern low-top sneaker that reimagines details found in early 1970s racing shoes. The radially extending side guards, deeply cut eyelet lines, and arrowhead-shaped heel tab provide stability and power while driving.

The next-generation GRS last combines a sharp toe shape with vertical thickness, offering a relaxed fit while maintaining the rigidity required for sports driving. It merges urban design with reliable operability.

❷ Material and Appearance – Expression

The upper is made from Negroni's proprietary "City Leather." By switching from North American raw materials to Japanese raw materials and minimizing pigment, it achieves a clean, sophisticated look while highlighting the leather's natural softness. Its uniquely soft, slightly "mochi-like" touch provides comfort every time it's handled.

❸ Comfort and Responsiveness – Response

The City Leather version of the Spearhead is also one of Negroni's ideal forms of comfort. The supple flexibility of the upper and secure heel grip cradle the foot, leading to agile and stable response during pedal operation.

The S-shaped structure of the GRS last three-dimensionally supports foot movement, maintaining a slender appearance while providing comfortable roominess. Furthermore, the bucket insole ensures the rigidity and stability necessary for hard driving. The latest cushioning material using profiled yarns comfortably controls temperature and humidity during long drives.

City Leather is designed to naturally blend into modern urban life while based on the design philosophy of classic racing shoes. Each pair is finished one by one at Negroni Factory Tokyo, the company's own workshop in Tokyo, ensuring its performance and style through precise craftsmanship.

City Leather bridges the gap between sports driving and urban style. The sophisticated look of smooth leather allows it to be worn with everything from dress styles to casual scenes, while simultaneously possessing authentic driving performance. The upper, lining, and insole are manufactured in Japan, while the sole is made in Italy.
The final step, sole attachment, is completed one pair at a time at Negroni Factory Tokyo in Tokyo.
