NEGRONI’s flagship, the IDEA CORSA, reimagined with the historic colors of the NISSAN Z. Inspired by the “Fairlady Z Customized Proto” unveiled at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon, this special edition pays tribute to the iconic Z432R with its distinctive bi-color scheme.

The IDEA CORSA represents NEGRONI’s pursuit of the ideal driving shoe. This collaboration was realized under the direction of Hiroshi Tamura, who has overseen legendary models such as the GT-R and Fairlady Z. Its dedicated last is based on a 3E standard, offering generous volume at the width and instep to fit a wide range of Japanese foot shapes. A newly developed bucket insole supports the arch and heel firmly, enhancing structural rigidity while providing sensitive pedal feedback.

❷ Expression — Materials & Aesthetics

The upper features a bold orange-and-black scheme that recalls the legendary Z432R and pays homage to the Customized Proto. Heat-pressed shrink leather creates a smooth touch and a deep, vivid finish. The side emblem introduces laminated carbon fiber for the first time, while metallic leather on the topline and a black eyelet line add sharp contrast and a dynamic presence.

The durable upper and enveloping bucket insole provide firm support across the foot, ensuring long-lasting comfort even during extended drives. The design delivers responsive and precise pedal feel, equally suited to spirited sports driving and everyday use.

This special edition was made possible through the passion shared by Hiroshi Tamura, a long-time wearer of the IDEA CORSA, and NEGRONI. The Z emblem is crafted by a badge maker with over 108 years of heritage, completed after countless micro-adjustments under one millimeter and delicate color inlay along ultra-fine lines. The Heritage Orange colorway embodies a deep respect for the enduring legacy of the Z.

The upper, lining, and insole are crafted in Japan, while the outsole is sourced from Italy.
Final assembly and sole attachment are completed by hand at NEGRONI Factory Tokyo.
