SCHG 2026 Kyoto Kitano Tenmangu Shrine | NEGRONI Participation Announcement
The annual SCHG (Sports & Supercar Heritage Gathering) at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine in Kyoto will be held tomorrow, April 26 (Sunday).
SCHG is a classic supercar event that began in 2016, spearheaded by automotive journalist Jun Nishikawa, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura. Ten years have passed since then. The Miura, which officially debuted in 1966, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026.
The 2026 event will feature a special 60th-anniversary exhibition celebrating the Miura's "kanreki" (60th birthday) as its central theme, alongside classic supercar displays, prayers for traffic safety, ritual purification of participating vehicles, research on classic cars, taiko drum performances, and a traffic safety awareness parade.
NEGRONI will participate in this event for the second consecutive year. On the day of the event, at 11:15 AM, within the "Classic Car Research" session at Bundo Kaikan, we will be holding the NEGRONI Masterpiece Research presentation.
We will be showcasing NEGRONI's flagship model, IDEA, and explaining its construction, materials, and comfort as a driving shoe, using actual examples. We will also be exhibiting and selling NEGRONI products and taking orders at the venue. This will be an opportunity to see firsthand the craftsmanship that goes into driving products at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, where classic supercars gather.
