NEGRONI Announces Sponsorship of GIRO DELL’ISOLA OKINAWA 2026
NEGRONI is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the classic car rally GIRO DELL’ISOLA OKINAWA 2026, taking place from March 20 to March 22, 2026. This marks the first time the brand has participated in the event as an official sponsor.
Bearing the name GIRO DELL’ISOLA — meaning “tour of the island” — the rally is far more than a competition of speed. Over three days, participants will explore Okinawa with their cars through the lush forests of Yanbaru, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, along dramatic coastlines renowned for their emerald-green waters, while encountering the island’s rich history and culture along the way.
NEGRONI chose this event as its first sponsorship because of a strong resonance with the philosophy at its heart: “Utuimuchi,” the Okinawan spirit of heartfelt hospitality. Experiences such as traditional Yachimun pottery making and cuisine rooted in locally sourced ingredients reflect a deep respect for culture and craftsmanship. These values closely echo the Japanese craftsmanship that NEGRONI has long pursued in the making of its driving shoes.
As classic automobiles from 1927 to 1985 trace Okinawa’s emerald-green coastline, NEGRONI hopes to be present at the driver’s feet — quietly connecting the driver, the machine, and the road beneath them.
Through this sponsorship, NEGRONI hopes to play a small role in supporting what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime journey for the entrants.
