① Inspection of product condition → Sole removal
Our staff will inspect the arrived product. Even if the sole tread is significantly worn or there is a hole in the heel, it is generally repairable, so please don't worry. Depending on the condition of the upper, we may suggest additional optional repairs such as replacing the lining and leather tape, or repairing the inner fabric. If you are unsure about the repair details, please consult with our store staff. It is also possible to get an estimate at the factory beforehand.

Minor upper damage is not a concern, but leather scuffs and sole wear were observed. The shoes will be restored to their original shape using the manufacturing last.

Steam is slowly applied to heat the adhesive to its melting point. Judging the temperature is difficult.
The strongly bonded sole cannot be easily peeled off. This requires carefully prying open the gap with significant force to avoid damaging the upper.
② Replacement of core materials → Relasting
We replace the old heel counter and toe puff. This process reshapes the heel's silhouette, which may have collapsed due to long-term use. After the thermal molding process is complete, the upper is relasted. The process of restoring shoes, each with different leather stretch and damage, to their original shape is filled with the expertise of skilled shoemakers.

Relasting is done by hand, observing the condition of the leather. This is a highly skilled task.
③ Re-adhesion → Coloring
The relasted upper is re-adhered. After the process of attaching a new sole, the driving shoes are revived. The true essence of Negroni's repair technique, however, lies in the special coloring service included in the full restore pack and collector's pack. Using dyes and pigments custom-blended for each pair, the repaired shoes are dramatically enhanced. Once you experience this finish, you'll realize that "disposable shoes are nonsense"!

New soles were attached. The contrast between the aged upper and the clean soles is an interesting moment.
Coloring work to restore Negroni. Colors are blended one by one for each pair of shoes according to the condition of the leather to achieve an exquisite color.
