Positioned within the brand’s luxury line, GRID showcases an upper made from the finest vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from the renowned Santa Croce tannery, Lo Stivale. This supple double-shoulder leather undergoes a washing process, resulting in a rugged, textured appearance that evolves over time into a rich, nuanced patina reminiscent of natural saddle leather. Beneath the foot, a full leather insole with dual cushioning beneath the arch enhances comfort, while NEGRONI’s signature MOTORHIDE VINTAGE lining develops a beautiful amber hue with age. Due to the complexity of its construction, GRID is exclusively handcrafted in limited quantities at the NEGRONI Factory, Tokyo, embodying the brand’s luxurious sensibility in both look and feel.

Fit & Sizing Guide

From the first wear, GRID offers a delicate, luxurious feel underfoot. The standout Lombardia Tan leather from Lo Stivale flexes gracefully, adapting quickly to the shape of the wearer’s foot. A slightly shallower topline creates a lighter fit around the ankle, while the thickly cushioned leather insole ensures a smooth and comfortable stride. Built on a 3E last, GRID provides ample width and instep volume, making it exceptionally suited to a variety of foot shapes common in Japan. Although the eyelet section appears snug, it offers slightly more room across the instep compared to other NEGRONI models.
