Design Inspiration and Story

GRAND PRIX HI-TOP draws on the racing aesthetic of the 60’s and early 70’s. Years spent studying vintage photographs, advertisements, and archive materials informed a design that blends period authenticity with modern functionality.
The upper pairs rugged oil-burnished suede—characterized by its natural, uneven gradation—with contrasting smooth Wet Track Calf. Oils infused into the suede give it a rich, deep texture while enhancing flexibility. Inside, Motorhide Vintage leather lining develops a warm patina over time, elevating both fit and luxury.

Fit & Sizing Guide

The GRS last creates a sleek, balanced silhouette with ample toe depth for comfort. Supple oil-burnished suede quickly adapts to the foot’s contours, delivering a forgiving, custom-like feel. A thickly cushioned leather insole supports the arch and gently lifts the foot for a distinctive, stress-free fit. Rubber laces simplify on/off transitions, easing the typical hassle of high-top sneakers.

Initial Material Treatment

The oil-burnished suede is pre-treated with a water-repellent Nano-Ceramic Coating, developed by Ceramic Pro for automotive leather and Alcantara. This coating offers protection for about 5–6 months, though environmental factors may reduce effectiveness. Reapplying a water-repellent treatment such as Collonil Carbon Pro is recommended after this period.
